hai Naomi Shimada x Summer Diaries
Meet Naomi Shimada, she is a model, author, broadcaster and member of our Hai community. We were curious to get to know how the Hai community have been spending their summer this year, so we created our mini series 'Summer Diaries'.
Take a look at some moments she has shared with us from her trip whilst visiting Switzerland for a friends wedding accompanied by her Puff Gina bag.
Tell us about your summer plans - where are you going, what are you most looking forward to?
Ciao! I’m doing quite a whirlwind tour this summer, between work and little trips here and there I just realised I’ll be away from home for weeks at a time! Im writing this on a plane to Berlin, then after I’ll be going to the south of Spain where I grew up, marseille, Provence and Corsica then I’ll probably retreat to the alps which has become my favourite hideaway recently. All these photos were taken there in the swiss alps while I was there for a friends wedding.
"Summer has this intense energy that I love but also I find myself often totally wiped out by it so trying to find a way to take care of myself as best as I can while enjoying its fruits!"
You're out for an alfresco lunch on a sunny day - what's your go-to meal?
A very simple salad, crisp lettuce, avocado, tomatoes doused in olive oil and salt!

What's your favourite summer pastime?
Swimming anywhere / everywhere.
Where will you take your Puff Gina bag next?
She’s coming on a European tour :)
